Dear Parents It is my pleasure to welcome you into our school. As your child’s first educators, you have had such a great influence on them so far in their lives and we, at Broad Hinton Primary School, endeavour to continue this work developing your child’s full potential. Starting school is one of the most important events in your child’s life, be it as a rising five or after a family move. At Broad Hinton Primary School new children settle quickly in our caring community enabling them to develop academically, creatively, socially, morally and culturally.

As parents you are always welcome into our school and as we operate an ‘open door’ policy, we encourage you, in partnership, to support your child, celebrate their achievements and also discuss with us any concerns you may have. The staff here believe every child needs to feel happy and safe in their learning environment and we do our best to ensure this.
The school has good and effective links with the local church and has been part of the community for more than 260 years. We have a strong Christian ethos and pride ourselves on the care, support and guidance we provide for both pupils and parents.
We look forward to working in close partnership with you and your child in the years ahead.
